Our Services Therapy Offerings Appreciative Inquiry See Appreciative Inquiry in action with a group of Children (Video)

Appreciative Inquiry is a way of relating to others which moves beyond the traditional counesling techniques of the past, by shifting the focus from problem-centered, to potential-centered. Rather than fixating on problems and how to solve them, a therapist using Appreciative Inquiry co-creates and taps into the core of human potential.

I found this example of appreciative inquiry one of the best on the web. Through appreciative inquiry techniques such as discovery, observation, and seeing the world from the perspective on the level of the client, the children in this setting come alive, are inspired and fully engaged in creating possibilities. This video clearly illustrates the effectiveness of appreciative inquiry for drawing out the best in people.
